When I close the lid of my laptop (without suspending it), the
appletouch driver behaves mysteriously and I am not longer able to use
the touchpad. The problem is solved when I unload and reload the
appletouch driver. Here are the details:

Hardware: Macbook Core Duo (1st Gen)
OS: Ubuntu Intrepid (8.10)
