My question would now refer to Ubuntu 9.04. -- [Intrepid Alpha 2] MacBook Pro EFI firmware updates not installable in Ubuntu https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/248699 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Mactel Support, which is the registrant for Mactel Support.
Status in Mactel Support: New Status in “efibootmgr” source package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Binary package hint: efibootmgr Quite a few people seem to be working on ways of getting Ubuntu on MacBook Pro (MBP), and it does seem to work in a way. However, if one uses Ubuntu as one's only operating system on a MBP, you can no longer profit from bug fixes coming with EFI updates. Would it be possible and legal to implement an Ubuntu EFI updater into Ubuntu 8.10 or later? EFI updates are available on Apple's website. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~mactel-support Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~mactel-support More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
