I included a patch for the current ubuntu kernel 2.6.24 from Hardy, so that it also activates fn key for Apple bluetooth alu keyboards, that identify as "hidd" 05ac:022d (and not only for 05ac:022c as tested by kernel 2.6.24). I tested the patch with my keyboard, that identifies with "hidd" 05ac:022d and it seems ok.
Hopefully that can be included in future versions.
