I'm able to confirm this issue for all recent macbook and macbook pro models. Frankly, it seems to me that mouseemu should be an opt-in rather than an opt-out deal. Though the hardware detection could be amended in the installer scripts to fix this issue (not a fan of this option as I can foresee this bug resurfacing with a new revision of the hardware).
