Not sure what VoiceOver issue you are referring to, but this configuration is what I would recommend for someone interested in getting a MacBook Air. However, for only an additional $100, you can get the same configuration in the entry-level MacBook Pro and have a lot better machine. Additionally, the MacBook Pro has a fan and an SD card reader. This may or may not be important to you, but these additional features are well worth the $100 difference in the two models of the MacBook.
Which ever way you go, you will notice a significant improvement in overall performance over an Intel based Mac.

Hey all, as the subject states. :) Here are a couple lines. Would this configuration help the Voiceover issues?

The MacBook Air Apple sent me has an 8-core CPU and 10-core GPU with 16 GB of memory, and 512 GB storage.

Performance felt super smooth for all my day-to-day tasks. At one point, I had about 60 tabs open in Google Chrome across three different windows, as well as various apps running in the background simultaneously—including Slack, iMessage, Spotify, and Telegram—and never felt the machine slow down. It felt only slightly warm to the touch, too.

What are your thoughts? If I upgraded this year, I’m coming from the last Intel of 2021.

Thanks,
Traci
