Hello, I have an iPhone SE 2020 and an iPhone 15 Pro both running IOS 17.4 and both running the same Apps updated to their latest level. The iPhone SE 2020 works as expected while there are bugs in the iPhone 15 Pro. Both iPhones behaved the same while running the latest IOS 17.3 before upgrading to IOS 17.4.
The following are annoying me on the iPhone 15 Pro: 1. The timers on Amazon Alexa do not work on the iPhone 15 Pro. If I say “Alexa 30 second timer” Alexa says “30 seconds starting now’ followed a few seconds later by Alexa saying “Sorry I am having Problems”. I used to rely on the Alexa timers for my daily workout. 2. The number of Apps which need updating are not fully reported on the iPhone 15 Pro. I have automatic App update set off. The App Store App is in the Utilities folder. When I swipe to the Utilities folder on the iPhone SE 2020 VO will tell me how many Apps updates are available which is what I want. This does not happen on the iPhone 15 Pro where the only way to find out how many App updates, if any, are available is to open the App Store App and then go to my Account. In case there are pending updates I have to do this every day which is annoying. Note that I turn off automatic App update to enhance battery life. Do others have similar problems? Can you think of any subtle differences in my Settings on the iPhones which might account for the above differences? Many thanks for any ideas!
