Dave, I have similar issues with my 500GB firewire drive. I keep all of my media on this drive, but when I log in our out of users, it seems to lose connection. Then when I load iTunes, it can't find any of the music. You can reload the library, or show it where each individual song is.... Very time consuming! Reloading the library will also completely break all of your playlists. Likewise any ideas would be awesome. Not to mention whether or not these are related issues.
