iWork9 is very much accessible.

There are a few qwerks here and there, espeically with Pages, and  
Numbers.

It is up to you if you will mind them or not.  Best thing to do though  
is give iWorks09 a shot.

Apple has a trial version up, and you will be able to give it a go and  
see how you like it.

Open Office is accessible to a degree, but I find iWork to be more  
feasable.
