Here is my report on ILife 09 so far.
Dear Apple:
While speaking to an Apple Care Product Specialist on Tuesday March 3,
2009, I was asked to do some work with the media browser in IMovie in
order to fix an open case with my Macbook. From my own explorations
with IMovie I knew that this would be impossible and I explained this
to the said agent. This seemed to spark their interest because they
inquired into what kind of roadblocks I had encountered with Imovie
and ILife 09, at which point I explained what I knew about the
accessibility issues in ILife 09. From this conversation I have
written this report.
ILife 09 Issues:
IPhoto:
- I can not interact with the photos scrowl area, and therefore I
can't do anything with the photos.
- I cannot, when clicking on a picture with the mouse, get
auditory feedback from Voiceover about what label the picture has. By
label I mean the camera given id or a title I add. I do have the
cursors in Voiceover all tracking each other.
- All the rest is labeled beautifully.
As you can see IMovie, IDVD, IMovie, and Garageband still need to be
written down.
