Hi Jane, With iTunes 8, support for being able to copy and paste selected songs to the iPod device was added. Can you simply select the songs in a playlist with Command-A, copy them with Command-C, then move to the iPod shuffle in the Sources table and paste with Command-V to get the songs onto the device?
