Hello, I have done installs for myself as well as helping a few people locally with their machines. Not only can you reinstall the OS and applications. But you can also use the utilities menu to perform several tasks as well. For example, repairing permissions from the install DVD. Just remember that after you boot to the install DVD, after the system is done booting, press Command F5 on a standard Apple keyboard or FN Command F5 on a MacBook. VoiceOver will then be running and away you go. HTH. Dan [email protected]
