welcome to the wonderful world of Mac!!! I grew up on windows too and  
didn't find it too hard to adjust. when you're learning, try to throw  
away a lot of what you learned about windows and pretend this is the  
first computer you've ever used. some stuff is the same, but a lot of  
it is different and it helps when you're not thinking well, I did this  
on windows...
I'm not totally sure about your iPod nano, I've only used mine with my  
mac. but I assume you'd have to start over cuz you'd be using a  
different iTunes library? unless your library is on an external drive?  
hmmm. I'm sure someone else can answer those questions better. but for  
sure, when you sync it up, it will use whatever the system voice on  
your mac is. mine uses Alex and I wouldn't have it any other way!!
