Hi.
What will be my setup as it looks now:
Imac 24
FIREDtV firewire external digital tv reciever that hooks up to my cable 
provider using db c codec.

software might be eyetv 3 either as stand alone, or in conjunction  with 
front row via Pye tv plugin.
I plan to connect the imac to my hifi setup through the digital optical 
output via tosslink, or maybe USB to an Hegel h100 stereo high-end 
amplifier, and wall mounted speakers.
In the future Sonos or squeezebox and a nas server may be part of the 
equation.

Any other suggestions would be greatly apreciated!

Ps. I have ordered but not yet gotten my Imac! So I am waiting anxiously for 
the beast to arrive
