Hi,

They had no names as far as I remember.

Mac OS 11.0 "Chocolate Lab" A.K.A. "Goldy" Maybe.

Well, the computers at that time actually had nicknames, not the OS's.  
These Apple regarded as code names, moddel names if you will.

OS X is as follows:

Beta release (Unknown)
10.0 Puma
10.1 Cheetah
10.2 Jaguar
10.3 Panther
10.4 Tiger
10.5 Leopard
10.6 Snow Leopard
