hi,
i am new to mac, but i try to tell you how i do it .
text edit and mail
control arrow left and right goes to the end or the begining of the
line.
option left and right arrrow jumps by word
comand up and down arrow goes to the begining or end of the text.
i always interact before editing.
option backspace deletes the word .

selecting text
i go to the begining of the line
control left arrow
shift down arrow selects the lines below.

if i am in the middle of a text and want to select the text from the
cursore
till the end comand shift down arrow.
till the begining comand shift up arrow.
upen office
function left or right arrow goes to the begining or end of the line,
comand up and down goes to the begining end of the text.
i think it always jumps by word with option.
when i select the line with shift , it works but i hear the line below.

naturally pages behaves as tezt and mail.
as i said i am new and i hope it is right .
i use mac book and i don't know if it could change anything.
