I just tried it with three video files and it converted them all and
made a nice ISO file I could mount and play with the Apple DVD player,
so I assume I could burn it and play it on a real DVD player. Nice. The
three files were an AVI with a cinepak video inside, and mp4 file with
an MPEG-4 video inside it and an mov vile with an Apple Animation file
inside it. So it would appear to handle the conversions without a fuss.
If you're looking for the original site this came from it is here:

http://www.smallsoftware.co.uk/smalldvd/

It appears to need something called iMagine Photo which is some kind of
scriptable image editor it uses to build the menus. That can be found here:

http://www.yvs.eu.com/imaginephoto.html

and is also free.
