Hi Rayna,

Remember that another great way to use Gmail or any other mail service  
with the Mail app, is to set it up as an iMap account. Depending on  
how you set your pop account up, it might download your messages to  
your Mac and delete them on the server. By using iMap, you get the  
best from both worlds, both web mail when you are away from your Mac,  
and the more advanced features of the Mail app when you are using your  
Mac. Also, your notes, drafts and so on will be stored on the server  
when you work on your Mac, and ready to use when you are on the web  
mail again.

To create an iMap account, see the pop-up in the account setup wizard  
in the Mail app.
