Hi there Just figured it out. It depends on the program you are using. Pages actually has, in its find/replace dialog, a list of characters that in which th tab can be found. Actually I like this other way. In textedit, or I would suppose any other wourd app with find/replace, type a tab, select it with shift left arrow, press cmd x to cut it. Then open find/replace cmd f. In the find field type your four spaces, and in the replace with, press cmd v and past your tab. its all straight forward from there.
