Hi I'm assuming you mean the advanced options under the account tab, yeah I'm
in there now and the clocest thing I see if a password authentification when I
press that button I get the following choices, password md5 challenge responce,
mbln, curvrose version 5tssapi, authended pop apop and those are my options. I
have a hearing loss so I might not have all the letters right but I think
that'll give you a pretty good idea. The last thing after that pop up menu says
for help visit roadrunner help..

Did you check the smtp server settings and especially under the advanced tab?

Hi guys: I haven't used mail on my mac that much untill lastnight, I
actually replied to a message that was sent a few weeks back and never saw my
reply and now I know why. It seems that mail thinks that I need to have
authorization checked on the smtp server but it doesn't require authorization
so because of this I can't send mail via my macbook. I thought I had checked
every square inch of the prefferences I went through the general tab, the
accounts tab and everything else I could find but I did not see where I could
tell mail that my smtp server does not require authorization. Can anybody help
me?
    Thank you!
