Hi, The minimize option from the window's title bar or the windows menu, makes the active window disappear and doc, but you remain in the application you are currently using.
Hide, from the Application menu, hides all the application windows and actually leaves the application you are in, and takes you to the last application you used. For example, in Text Edit, if you minimized a window, it would hide it, but still leave you in Text Edit, and the next layered window would become active or no window if that was the last visible window. If you did hide, all windows would hide, and you'd switch to the next application, like the Finder. --Scott >Hi all, >What is the difference between hide and minimize? >louie >louiem...@wavecable.com > > > > > -- --Scott --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
