Here's a couple ways to do this. You can set a preference in iTunes to not copy files when songs are added. Then, you could either disconnect the drive from the network, hook it up to your mac, and add the songs to the library. Or, you could add across the network. I do believe that iTunes supports networked music drives. once the songs were added, you could then transfer them to the phone.
