James, I don't know what constitutes a "authorized dealer", but as long as it is a new machine, that is what matters. I don't know if it is Amazon selling the machine or Amazon advertising on behalf of a third-party company, but provided again it is a new machine and your getting the full warranty, that is all that matters.
