James, I have gotten over five hours before I put it on the charger. Now keep in mind I did not run it down, but I figure I could have gone another hour or two without any difficulty. I leave mine on the charger most the time since cycling the batteries is unnecessary and I have a Dell machine my employer provided that I have done this with for over two years and no issues with its batteries either. Now I'll have to work at running this battery down and see how far she'll go, but for most the tasks I am doing, if I get six hours, I'd be happy, if I get seven, I'd be very pleased and I honestly think I'd get the seven, just seems I never have enough time to push it beyond five hours.
