Hi Scott, Here is my suggestion:
•press control-option-K to start Keyboard Help •try different keys to find the one heard as "a Qd accent", since this is the key I press first •when you have found it, escape Keyboard Help and press the key, followed by e. This should create é. Hope this helps!
