Hi, Thanks for this explanation. I'm new to this list and plan to purchase a MacBook after Snow Leopard is released. I've begun reading the Voice Over documentation to become familiar with the Mac and what to expect. After using Microsoft products for over 20 years, I plan to take the same approach that I took when first entering the Microsoft world. That is, I'm giving myself a solid year to become comfortable with the Mac. I'm certain I'll have questions when I purchase, or even prior to purchasing the MacBook Pro system.

The Apple key is the Command key, located to the left of the space bar. With the Macbook, you'll need to use Function as well. So to turn on Voiceover after the computer starts up, press Command plus Function, plus F5. The function key is the key on the bottom left corner, 2 keys over from your command key. You will hear "Voiceover on". It's already read to go, no installation of the screenreader necessary. HTH, Rayna Roberto Burceni wrote: > Hi all, finally I decided to buy a macbook pro 13.3 inces.
