OK, I have finished the upgrade. I did just one check and that was worth it for me.
The bug where if you are in the toolbar of a Safari 4.02 page, and bring up the item chooser to select a web element. Then when chosen the web element is not in the Voice Over cursor is fixed. I haven't broght up my list of complaints to test against, but this alone is worth the upgrade for me.
