Hi, I would like to record a podcast and need software that can record everything going on - input from a USB mike, what VoiceOver is saying, and input from line-in. Is this possible on a Mac Mini, and if so, what software would be best?
Eventually I also want recording software that can remove pops and clicks and tape hiss and split long recordings into tracks for turning tapes and CDs into audio files. What would be good for doing that? Finally, I'd like to be able to record and then add sound effects or music tracks. Is Garage Band the best bet for tthat? Is there one recording program that can do all the things I'm thinking about doing, or will I need several? Thanks very much.
