Hi guys,
I now am on speeking terms with my iPod again.
I looked and had other people look in settings on the silly thing and
the spoken menus thing was nowhere to be found. I finally gave up and
restored defult settings via iTunes and it updated the iPod software
again. Now it is talking again. I must of got a bad update last night
or something wonky went down between Mr. Macky and my iPod. Only
things are I now have to go back and redo all my settings but that
isn't such a big deal and put stuff back on there. Again not too much
of a big deal. It is talking again and that is what is important. :-)

The reply I got from Apple seemed not very personal more like an
advert or a form letter. Oh well.

I'm still as much an Apple head as I ever was and don't hold anything
on anyone. :-) This is really the first major glitch thing I think
I've had sense switching to Apple nearly a year and a half ago. On
Windows this sort of thing would of not already happened within weeks
of obtaining a new bit of equipment like the iPod but would of gone on
to happen many times over so all is well.

Thanks to everyone who had something to say on this issue. :-) It's
been put to bed, and now. So shall I.

Best Wishes-
