This makes things very difficult for those people who may not have enough competency in English to install the OS and use it until they can buy the InfoVox voices. Having Alex read French or any other foreign language with an English voice is not acceptable.
Let's hope that they will fix this issue in the near future. Perhaps I'll point out to them that users of Orca in Linux and NVDA in Windows have speech with E Speak which gives users about 50 voices. Braille access is also given through BRLTTY. Hopefully though, voices for other languages will be added in some future update.
