I'm sure the mac pro is a lovely machine, but I still stand by my
opinion that I posted a week or 2 ago - the mac pro is stupidly
expencive. I'm happy to buy leopard / snow leopard, ilife and iwork,
but if I ever wanted the sort of power the mac pro offers i'd go the
hackintosh root. As a side note, i'd be perfectly happy to buy the os
for it, just not the hardware.
Don't get me wrong, apple are a great company and its things like tdm
and vo jure in install that I love, I just don't have the inclination
to buy apple hardware.

Thanks for the pointers everyone; i'll be sure to give them a try and
