Read through the Introduction to Smart Playlists post in the archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/macvisionaries%40googlegroups.com/msg01294.html for an explanation of how smart playlists work with some examples. "Interesting" depends on what you put in for criteria. If you want to make a smart playlist without reading anything, change the guidelines to a condition that will match anything in your library, like "size is greater than 0 MB" (VO-Space on the first pop up button, press "s i" quickly to select "Size", then press enter; VO-Right arrow to next pop up, VO-Space, arrow down to "is greater than", press enter; stop interacting with the rules section). Then, VO-Right arrow to the first check box and check it with VO-Space. That will give you a smart playlist of 25 items chosen at random. Or, you could change the random pop up button (VO-Space) and arrow down to some other criterion like "most frequently played" or "genre". Press enter to commit your selections.
