Hi Robert,

Will has answered your question, but in case you want more details, if
you select "Downloads" in the Sources table (below the iTunes Store
and Purchased smart playlist) and then tab to the table, and interact,
you'll be able to select and monitor the status of all downloads
currently in progress. The sources table "Downloads" entry also
announces the number of downloads currently in progress/pending. In
the other table, arrow down in the Name column then VO-Right to the
Status column and interact to monitor the progress. There will also
be a button to pause individual downloads. You'll hear something
like: "Status 46.2 MB of 109.1 MB - 2 minutes remaining pause"
announced. If you stop interacting with the table, there's also a
check box to permit multiple simultaneous downloads (checked by
default) and buttons that allow you to pause or resume all downloads.

HTH. Generally, when you download a song, the process will be
complete before you can navigate to the place where you can check on
the download status. It's only on the longer files (podcasts,
audiobooks, movies, etc.) that you may want to monitor the download.

Cheers,

Esther
