Well, it doesn't fit the zxcv model but you can just do command delete 
to move a file to the trash. If that's a bit difficult you can use the 
Keyboard Shortcuts tab of the Keyboard and Mouse System Preferences to 
map Command-X to Move to Trash. Not exactly the behavior you described, 
but closer.
