Hi, As I understand it, the easiest way to import your mail from OUtlook Express is to install Thunderbird on your Windows machine, import your mail into Thunderbird, then import the Thunderbird mail into Mail on the Mac. I used Eudora and followed this procedure to get my mail into the Mail program, and it worked fine.
As for your account, do you have the correct names for your incoming and outgoing mail servers? You can try different authentication settings as well.
