Right that's what I do.  It just seems to me that it would be common  
sense that you would not want to hide landmines like this throughout  
an operating system.  One of the great things that I have found  
generally about OS X and computers in general is that there are  
several ways to do something.

I was not interested in an alternative solution, I was interested to  
see if people have experienced the same thing as to know if it could  
be reported.
