Hi Dan,

I don't have much time to play with this, but the following worked for
me: use Option-Tab. This assumes that you have the checkbox checked
on the Safari preferences advanced menu so that pressing tab
highlights each item on the web page. Below that checkbox, on the
Safari preferences advanced menu pane, it says:
Option-Tab highlights all items except links.
So I navigate to the pop-up button for music then VO-right to hear
"for", and since I can't VO-right arrow anywhere past that to type in
the text, I press Option-Tab and hear:
Search Options group
Then, although I can't hear anything, I type in my search string and
press return. This seems to work. (I was in DOM mode, but you can
try this both ways and I didn't have my mouse cursor tracking on).
Just weird.

Cheers,

Esther
