Hi Matt. I've written to them about that pitch change bug many times since Lion and they sorta fixed it, but it's still there when encountering things like data detectors or edit fields. If you're still getting these pitch changes outside those parts I've mentioned, there is a way to fix this. If you have your letters set to change pitch when you type in a capital letter or delete, simply set those options to beep or do nothing.
