Hi there
I just sent the developers two files, both blank forms directly from the
Internal Revenue web site. I did this for comparison purposes. This is because
when I filled out my taxes with these forms the first six lines of the 1040 did
not work, and I couldn't check that I was blind and my husband is over 65. The
Schedule SE worked great with no problem for me.

To answer your question, Nic, when PDF Pen Pro first comes up, and I think you
can turn this off, it gives a welcome message. I don't think you can edit
anything when it happens, or at least I can't. However, if you press command o
and go through the procedures for opening a file, I have had no trouble except
for the things I just mentioned. The problems I had this year may have
something to do with the form and not the software. This is because some work
with no trouble on my computer. We will see what answer I get back. They have
been most eager to want to solve this issue. Last time they wrote me and said
they wanted to do more with VoiceOver, so I think we should help them all we
can. I plan to because this is a major thing that needs to get better for us on
the Mac.

Regards,
Gigi
