Hi Alex!
I did that.  I believe I changed to classic view long enough to move them and 
then switched back.  I turned on track pad and just found what I wanted and 
press and drag it to the right.  I swapped date and subject I believe.
I also defined a key to be the mouse describer in keyboard commander which 
comes in pretty handy some times.
