Hi,

The solution outlined here actually is either found in the 10.9.2 update or a 
hardware test done by a certified Apple Technician and possible replacement of 
the lid of the MBA.  So, other than seeing if the 10.9.2 update fixes your 
issue, the next fix, at least according to this 135 page thread is to take your 
MBA into your local Apple Service Centre and having them do an antenna test.  I 
also noted that one user had no issues as long as they used the Apple Airport 
wireless access points.
