Hi,

The second request for your Apple ID password is a necessary security thing,
you wouldn't want your Credit Card info and/or purchasing abilities compromised
if your unit was grabbed by someone else. Regarding authorizing of iOS
devices, as long as you've signed in with your Apple ID in the
iBooks/AppStore/iTunes Store area of iOS Settings, then the device should be
authorized. There is no special authorization like in iTunes on your Mac or
PC. In addition, iOS devices do not count towards your maximum of 5 computers.
I'm not sure why that message came up for you. The best thing I can suggest
is to confirm that your Apple ID is active in the Music area of Settings.

Later...
