Best wishes, Jonathan OK, you should be able to get drag and drop to work also as long as both positions are visible on the primary screen at the same time. The best way to do this in Mavericks is to use the tabs.
1. Open up the applications folder. 2. Click command-T to create a second tab. 3. Navigate to the source object. 4. Initiate the drag. 5. Move OV to the Tab bar of the applications tab 6. Initiate the drop action. On a related note: Has any body tried using the VO command to drop item on a hot spot?
