Hi Jean I see no reason to go off list. We talk iPhone all the tiome. First, I have found out that brf files using AccessNote need to have their file names in all lower case letters. Otherwise, the program refuses to get them from Drop Box. I wrote AFB support about that, and they referred the question to their programmer, and that was what was found out.
The next thing is that, unless you are ok with reading in all caps and having dots 7 and 8 shown all the time, you will wnat to use TextEdit to make a transformation to all lower case. If you don't know how, you select all the text in TextEdit, go to Edit, down arrow to transformations, and right arrow. Find make upper case and pres Enter. You'll want to press down arrow to unselect your text you just made into lower case. This will not hurt the reading of your braille because brf files could care less if the text is upper or lower. But it stop dots 7 and 8 from driving you crazy, at least I don't like it. I read it if I have to but it's not my favorite.
