good Evening,

iBank appears to have done some accessibility work, but I was unable to
properly interact with the register fields.

When iBank first starts there are a few buttons that read are actions to
start using the application. These buttons are not coded as buttons but if you
click them by moving the mouse to the VO cursor then you can get past the
initial screen.
I was able to find my bank in the list of institutions and create saving and
checking accounts through the startup wizard. The buttons in the main window
have
text equivalents in the Help tag and most have primary accessibility labels
also. There is one unlabeled button that I was unable to determine its use.
The main screen had promise it has two tables one with a list of options for
the second table inkling a list of accounts if you select a row in this table
with either the arrow keys or voice over the second table changes. I had all my
issues with the second table and perhaps they are solvable.

You type command-N to create a new transaction You then get a line with just a
date in it. If you hit tab then vo cursor says nothing and vi-f4 says the
keyboard input is no where. This is in fact a drop down that you can activate
with the enter key and select transaction types (POS, Check, Deposit...)
Hitting enter on the appropriate type will drop the pull down back to closed
sate and then tab again and you are in the Payee field. I typed American
Express and heard nothing but my wife said it was entered From what I can tell
there is an error in the way tables are coded in that VoiceOver is only seeing
the first column, and even when insertion point / keyboard focus moves to the
other columns VoiceOver claims no items have keyboard focus.

I believe you can download a demonstration copy from the IDG web site.

As I stated in my earlier note, I can add and edit transactions on the iPhone
version of iBank and then I sync that wit the copy of iBank on the computer
that my wife maintains. I personally chose to use only the LAN in my house for
synchronization, but there is a cloud based sync option too.

It appears the auto-update the transactions from the web / direct download of
transactions will work, though I did not actually log into my banking account
and attempt a download.
.
 Best wishes,

Jonathan
