like to know the same thing. There are no drivers for the opticbook line of scanners for Mac outside of a "beta" that they produced that didn't work except with their proprietary and inaccessible buttons on the scanner itself. So far as I know, these are the only "bookedge" scanners" on the market, and this is the principle reason I still really like k1000 for scanning. I have fine reader pro, and there is a huge list of supported scanners that you can see linked on the abbyy site. But none is a book edge, and I don't think any of them are even the high speed duplex kind where you cut up the book and feed the pages in that way.
