If your word processing needs don't extend to needing 100% Office compatibility, Pages is probably fine. If, however, you need to ensure that your .docx files retain all formatting, fonts, etc., you'd probably be more likely to have that in Office. Ever see those warnings in Pages that some feature or another isn't supported?
