Here's how Louis works. When you open it, there are tabs to work with. Select the documents tab and choose the document you want to translate. Once you've done this, select the processing tab and set up your Braille or back-translated document. You can also set up an output device to send the translation to. There's a popup menu with various ports in it. I haven't gotten this to work for my braille display, so I'm not sure if it works well for an embosser. You can also choose a braille table. Louis has some documentation that you can find by going into the contextual menus in finder and choosing "show package contents".
