Hello Frank, While I cannot state with certainty, I know that the next release of Fusion will support 64-bit everything. I'm sure this info can be found at http://vmware.com Mark -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Frank Ventura Sent: Monday, September 21, 2009 9:40 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Can Fusion work with a 64 bit OS? Hi all, does anyone know if it is possible to install a 64 bit Windows OS in Fusion? Specifically can the 64 bit version of Windows Server 2008 or 64 bit version of Vista run under Fusion? Thanks Frank -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Woody Anna Dresner Sent: Monday, September 21, 2009 11:10 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: windows 7 Hi May, If you use Boot Camp, you can boot into either Windows or Mac OS. When you choose one, that operating system uses all the resources of the computer, and you have to reboot to use the other. The reason Windows doesn't speak during the install is that you don't have access to VoiceOver. You might want to consider using Fusion instead. This allows you to run Windows while running Leopard. The down side is that your system's resources must be split between the two, but the advantage is that you can switch between Windows and Mac programs and run them simultaneously.
