In most cases, command-backspace will delete/uninstall an app once you find it in the apps folder. This is the usual process on a Mac. There's no need to go through an uninstall dialog as in Windows. Some programs leave files in your library, but they will either not apply or you may get dialogs for them. in this case, you may have to delete the files from your library, but this is rare.
