Hi Robert, I have in fact successfully downloaded some of the new voices. But what I really want to do is get back some of the old voices, such as Samantha, Tom, and the Russian voice. And I have not been able to do that. Samantha and Tom are in the list. I had thought they weren't, but they are. I tried unchecking Samantha Tom and the Russian voice, then closing out preferences, and coming back in and checking them. But of course that didn't work. So then I have been trying to uninstall the old files, and I'm not having any luck. Hopefully, this can be resolved. I am not all that thrilled with these new voices. Of course I love Alex. But if these are in fact the expressive voices, I'm not sure what all the shouting is about. Smile. Mary
